Signature Service ProjectAbout
At the end of the conference, participants can take part in the Service Project to contribute to sustainability in the West Lafayette community. In this year’s Service Project, conference participants will have the opportunity to make simple composting bins. Leaves and grass will be collected from the Purdue University campus before the conference and waste from the conference weekend will be used for this service project. The bins, attached with a one-pager explaining how to use them, will be provided to elementary school classrooms in the West Lafayette community. The Service Project will be held in conjunction with 350.org’s 10/10/10 Day. Information on 350 can be found on their website, 350.org Overview
Note: Please RSVP with the 350.org site through the above button and select the optional, zero-dollar 'fee' on the Registration Page when registering for the conference. |
