Biography
Catlin Powers is a NSF Graduate Research Fellow studying exposure modeling at Harvard School of Public Health. She is the founder and COO of One Earth Designs, a nonprofit promoting environmental health and incubating local innovation and entrepreneurship in the Himalayan region. Catlin received bachelors degrees in chemistry and environmental studies (Wellesley College) and worked as an environmental consultant for U.S. & India-based firms prior to co-founding One Earth Designs (OED). In addition to graduate research and her work at OED, Powers manages the Clinton Global Initiative University’s technology portfolio, serves on the Board of Directors of the Pentok Institute for the Empowerment of Rural Women, and serves on advisory boards for the Harvard Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations and Harvard College’s Global Health Review.
