Roger Neil Rovekamp

| Biography | Roger is a graduate student in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. Roger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2003, after which he spent 4 years working as an engineer at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Roger returned to graduate school on a full-time basis in 2008 and expects to receive his Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering this fall. Roger is a veteran of two international engineering programs. His first experience was with the International Engineering Program at the University of Cincinnati where, as an undergraduate student, he spent 6 months as a werkstudent in Munich, Germany. His most recent international engineering experience was as part of the 2010 International Research in Engineering Education (IREE) Program, an NSF funded program administered by Purdue University that sent U.S. engineering researchers to conduct research in China. While in China Roger performed research in System Identification and Structural Health Monitoring with the Hunan University Department of Civil Engineering in Changsha, Hunan Province. |
