We detail in broad terms the scope of our research while in Germany and discuss the connections for collaboration we made during our stay. | Bio | Daniel Abretske received his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2004. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. His research interests include computer vision and graphics for real world scene analysis and visualization, as well as a budding interest in robotics, control and embedded programming. Daniel Mirota received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2006. He received the ASEE National Co-Op Student of the Year Award in 2006 for his work at Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton, N.J. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University. His research interests include computer vision, medical image analysis, as well as computer-aided surgical systems. |
