Sustainable weather and rain collection program

About the Project

This project is currently in the beginning stages. Plans are being made to find “sister” schools in Indiana to partner with middle schools near Bomet, Kenya in order to teach students about weather and collect data. Since farming is the #1 job in most African countries, students that have a better understanding of weather will be able to plan ahead and track rain data.

Not only will this help farming but due to a growth in sustainable energy resources like solar power and wind harvesting students will grow in knowledge of science too.

Another aspect of this project is design and build rain collection tanks that will provide more water for communities to drink.
